Yes, that's quite a deviation from The Analog, but sometimes saturation artifacts extend too far to very high freqs, stick out of the mix and there is no way to cut them without destroying the dry signal at the same time (applying lowpass) or losing that nice saturation thickness and dirt in lower bands (reducing drive).
