I trashed my old VW AU (which was working fine, even though it was "incompatible") and installed the new 1.6.5 version - now VW is not listed at all. All I see is Vintage Meter! Help! I want my VW back! (I tried uninstalling and reinstalling....)

Does it not show up in L7's AU Val window, so that you could force a "rescan" of it? I guess you already tried that.. I don't know. My install went smoothly, and it automatically passed validation and showed up on the next boot of L7.. same with the MixPak plugs. Although if you need to go back and open up OLDER songs (from L6) to do more work on them, I would suggest that you NOT delete the previous versions of PSP plugs. Just move them out of your Components folder, but exchange them for the new versions if you need to go back and run L6.

Cheers.

1. Please redowload the installer
2. Please update the Quicktime to the latest version
3. Please make sure that you have the system up to date and the CoreAudio is the most recent.

The latest Logic versions supports AU Validation internally so you can run it directly from Logic's preferences.

Regards,

And one more:

If you previously used wrapped version of the plug-in please remove it and force AU Manager to rescan all AU plug-ins.
