VST and RTAS Presets Drastically Different

For a given preset, the VST and RTAS preset of a given name are drastically different. Not the end of the world but very unexpected.

I don't understand what do you mean. The plug-in settings of the same preset are different in different format?

Yes. For instance, for the *init Ping Pong preset only 2 middle sliders are active for the RTAS preset while all 8 are active for the VST preset.
