macbook 2.4 C2D / 10.5.8

Generic AU GUI and blank/all-white VST GUI in Peak Pro 6.2 for master and micro (probably Peak's problem).

Neither master or micro VST pass audio in Wave Editor 1.4.6, AU seems fine.

No GUI when instantiated for either master or micro in Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.4 (most of the time, works occasionally... like the first time for master, but not micro... all subsequent fail)

Yes... thanks for confirming this...
Just the standard Pro Tools plug-in stub. When I first plugged in MasterComp, it worked, then I tried MicroComp and that's where I encountered no graphic. When I replaced with with MasterComp, the same thing (no graphic) shutdown and restarted pro tools and MasterComp worked again, but not Micro.

I am also confirming this issue in ProTools 7.4.2. Apple G5 running 10.5.8. MicroComp will not work correctly. All I see is the insert window stub, there is no UI for the plugin shown. MasterComp works just fine.

I just realized that I didn't do the normal bug report on this, but surely PSP has seen this thread.

Should we all report here, too? http://www.pspaudioware.com/support/contact_psp_technical_support/

Anyway, PSP: please respond. Thanks!

I did do a bug report, and worked with them to get it working right. They just released an update 1.7.1 that fixes the problem. Try it out!

Okay, seems to work in Pro Tools now.

The AU and VST problems are the same.

AU and VST do seem to work okay in Rax.

I guess Peak and Wave Editor are at least partially to blame.

I'm happy for now, thanks PSP!

1.6.5: VST still not passing audio in Wave Editor

Since we are going backwards, maybe 1.6.4 will fix this problem?

Seriously, I hardly ever use plug-ins in Wave Editor.

Things seem fine in Peak Pro and Pro Tools.

Hello,

1.6.5 is a real backward version - we just didn't have time to release it earlier as the 1.7.x was our main goal.
1.6.5 and 1.7.x are VST 2.4 compatible so they will not work in applications that support VST 2 or VST 3 and not 2.4. I don't know what is the case about the Wave Editor. If it can run AU please use the Audio Unit versions instead.

Regards,
