I installed 1.1.6 over 1.1.1, but OT will no longer open. I get a dialog box telling me that PACE authorization is required even though I already have the license on my ilok. I requested a new license through my account, but have not received anything in my ilok account yet.

What's the best way to get back up and running?

Hello,

The 1.1.6 iLok is working here fine with the iLok. If it really asks you to buy the plug-in you have not inserted a proper iLok key or there is no authorization on the iLok key. Please contact our support to solve this problem.

Regards,

Has anyone else noticed a slight difference in sound between 1.1.6 and the previous version? I can't quite put my finger on it exactly (and I haven't done a null test to prove or disprove it) but I think I hear a subtle difference. 1.1.6 seems to be a bit more focused up top and the bottom feels a little tighter and more robust (same settings).

Anyone else...?

Installing 1.1.6 over prior version 1.0.6 does not appear to replace the 1.0.6 version. The Digidesign Plug In continues to show 1.0.6 as the Old Timer version. This occurs whether the 1.0.6 version is deleted prior to the installation of 1.1.6, or not deleted in advance on installation. I am reading the version of Old Timer from Finder window. Is it possible that Finder is reporting the version number incorrectly?

This is Mac 10.5.8, Pro Tools 8 LE.

Many thanks,

John Caldwell
