I love this plugin to this day remains as the best plugin compressors out there not even the latest Waves offerings can hold a candle to this comp. To me it is on par with the SoftTube TubeTech and UAD Neve 33609 emulations, like those plugins it just holds the image and depth very well.

But freakin' GUI is archaic, I'm not criticizing PSP's GUI design talents, Nitro along with their latest plugin offerings are absolute eye candy just bugs me that their best product, the MasterComp remains looking like a pencil sharpener.

Some like, some dislike the MasterComp GUI, we are not going to make all our plug-ins looking like the Neon/Xenon or Nitro which are built for different usage, different purposes etc. The GUI of PSP plug-ins is designed to cooperate to the algorithm design, we don't prepare modern GUIs for plug-ins doing an old sound or vintage GUIs to plug-ins using latest digital algorithmic solutions...
