Hi,
I really love the sound of this EQ, it has no artifacts or zipper noise and is really versatile in most ways! My only complaint is with its control surface support!
I have PSP MasterComp and PSP VM2 and they both have good control surface support, but Neon HR has just a a row of encoders all named "FILT"
The fist 8 FILT control the filter type
the next 8 Filt control the filter type again!!
the next 8 FILT control frequency
the next 8 FILT control nothing!!
the next 8 FILT control Q
the next 8 FILT control nothing!
The next 8 Filt control Gain
the next 8 FILT control nothing!
Most Bizarre!! we really need the controls to be next to each other freq1-gain1-Q1 then freq2-gain2-Q2 etc and ideally the first bank of encoders should be... encoder 1/2/3 should be for band 1, and so on to encoders 22/23/24 for band 8. this way we can have all the essential controls for ALL the bands on the same bank (or in logical order for smaller control surfaces!!)
Then place all the less important functions on the encoders 25 and on!
OH! why do you use the "shift" modifier key for sensitive adjustment? pro tools and nearly all other vendors use the "apple" (command) key. this is on Mac!
