I had used the VW1 demo and really like it. I would like to buy VW2, but after I install it, I can't find it in my plugins. When ProTools launches, I can see it loading the correct .dpm files, but I cannot find it in the plugins list. I'm nervous about buying it since I can't get the demo to work.

PC or Mac? Which system? If Windows XP, do you have Service Pack installed?

It is a PC system running windows XP home service Pack 2. ProTools LE 7.3.1, with a digi 002. Hope this helps!

Ok I figured out what's going on. Whether I installed the plug-in with the 'install visual C++ runtime' checked or not it only took about 1 second to install, which made me feel like it wasn't really installing the runtime libraries. I downloaded the runtime engine from microsoft and installed it directly, and now the VW shows up and functions! Hooray!

I don't know whether it's a problem with the installer, or something strange on my machine, since this doesn't appear to be a common problem, but I'm happy to have gotten it working!
