While mastering in Sequoia 8.1 with Neon HR 1.1, I've been getting some faint distortion in a few places on the mixdown track. But the distortion wouldn't be there on playback prior to mixdown. Only after mixdown, and always in the same one or two places. Very frustrating. While the song sounded awesome prior to mixdown, I ended up abandoning Neon for Algorithmix EQ (blue).

Just out of curiosity, how do the two compare overall? (I'm also jealous you can run HR - Mine doesn't appear in the plugin list and crashes when I rescan failed plugs. Is yours in a folder by any chance?)

No problems like that in PT HD Accel PCi-e.

How do they compare? The Algorithmix EQs are incredible, comparable to analog hardware. The Blue models several popular analog EQs. The PSP Neon HR, also with a great sound, is a bit more neutral. I need to spend some more time comparing them. Mastering guru Bob Katz has praised them both.
