Hi,

I installed the new version of Neon HR and Neon on my ProTools HD and LE systems and they do not show up in the Insert list as did version 1.0.0.

I've tried un-installing, re-installing rolling back to version 1.0.0 and it's the same every time.
Version 1.0.0 shows up alright but as soon as I install the newest, they disappear from the Inserts list.
The plug-in files do install to the right folder (DAE/plug-ins) and I see ProTools trying to load them as it starts, so it must be something else than the plug-ins being installed in wrong place.

I'm on XP Pro SP2 on both systems and use the latest cs releases of ProTools 7.1.

I am having a similar problem - i have installed Neon for the first time and it is not appearing in the insert plug-in menu in ProTools 7.1. I am also on Win XP.

Note the plugin is working correctly in Wavelab.

Well, it's been 11 days since posting here and sending a copy to the support email.
Even though you may not have a fix, can you please acknowledge that you are aware of the problem?

Could you please check if the plug-in appears in your DAE plug-ins folder? (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins). There should be two files for a plug-in - one with extention .dpm and the other one having .dpm.rsr at the end.

Yes, they both are installed in the right folder (DAE|Plug-ins).

Please try to follow these steps (and let me know what the result is):
1. install version 1.0.0
2. backup both plug-in files you have in your DAE/Plugins folder
3. install version 1.1.0
4. copy the files you backed-up in step 2 to DAE/Plugin folder overriding the new files.

This will allow you to use the plug-in version 1.1.0 with older version of our shell library providing RTAS interface.

I think I've backed it up at my home studio.

I have this exact same problem with Neon HR in ProTools HD. I've tried multiple reinstalls, deleting prefs etc., and cannot get Neon to show up in ProTools.

I also only have the 1.1 installer.

Think I found the reason, finally. Please download and install MSVC library from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...&displaylang=en

Then install 1.1.0 again (if you replaced it with 1.0.0).
Please tell me whether it helped.

I saw the neon 1.1.0 and want to know if somebody has already used it and let me know how good it is.
