Test them for yourself. Set up both plugs with identical settings and A/B them. I was astonished at the difference. To my ear, Neon in LP mode is much thicker and warmer than MQ in FAT mode. Making me wonder when I'll use MQ again...

Nice job, PSP.

Yes, the main difference is the sound. And the reason for the difference is mostly phase-linearity. It's hard do describe the sound so you have to listen.
Also, Neon HR allows different eq curve to be applied to left and right channel and also to middle/side.

Shouldn't it be just transparent in LP mode?coloration comes from phase distortion, so linear phase should just be as warm and thick as the signal, not more....

hmmm...

So far my test have shown Neon to be more transparent and clearer in LP mode, while Master Q, is not as clear, but seems warmer and fatter to my ears so far, but still some testing to do. Neon not in LP mode is not as clear and a bit closer to Master Q in that setting, but am not finished testing.

One big thing I like about Neon is the eq curve selection for each band. It would really be nice if that option could be given to Master Q as well. It shouldn't be hard to implement since it has just been done to Neon.
