We have just added a library containing 100+ settings to support playing music like "the Shadows". All patches are emulating vintage tape/disc gear used in that era.On the same site you'll find also recommended settings vs existing backingtracks. Since the patches are emulating vintage devices they will directly fit into other music from that era.

Enjoy

I cannot load this library on my Mac. I suppose it's pc-only?

Thule,
I'm not sure. They run 100% on Intel based PC's.Let's wait for the PSPAudioware people to join in.

Kind Regards,
Peter

When you download the bank, delete the ".txt" extension. You can leave the ".psb" extension if it's present. Now go here:

Boot HD>Library>Audio>Presets

...and create a folder named "PSPaudioware." Inside this create another folder named "PSP 608." This is where you put the new bank file.

Now launch your sequencer and instantiate the plug-in. To the right of the Preset menu at the bottom of the plug-in you'll see the word "Bank" alongside two small floppy disk icons, one green and one red.

First click the red one to save the factory bank | navigate to the PSP 608 folder you created and save it there. Now click the green icon to load the new bank. When the file dialog comes up, go to the top menu inside it labelled "Enable." Choose the "All Documents" option.

Now, although the bank name remains greyed out, the document icon becomes selectable and the bank can be loaded.

Kind regards.

This vintage tape echo library is fabulous. Great job, thank you!!

Well worth the download. So good I may not need to buy echoboy now from soundtoys, which i had been planning on, as these tape delays while sounding a little different from echoboy demo are as good to me. In fact I think they are going to sit in the mix better and not take up as much frequency space.

Just a heads up on this bank. Trying to load it into the AAX version in PT10HD crashes PT (takes you to the Windows 7 desktop). It still works fine with the VST version in other apps.
