When I switch to FAT the application stops to respond.

I have experienced it for some time and when I stop using FAT, it works ok. When I switch it on the CPU meter starts to jump and after awhile SX3 hangs.

Additional info is it often happens when I am using UAD-1 and in particular LA2A plug. If I use it without UAD-1 plugs, it works fine.

Anyone else have same problem?

I am working on a P4 3.2 ghz with 2 g RAM, an Emu 1820m w latest drivers and Asus p4c800e deluxe mobo.

Hello,
I have Intel 2,8 HT, the same motherboard, 2GB RAM, Nuendo 3,2 (the lastest update). With UAD1 v 4.1 (and earlier versions) nothing special (I mean wrong :-) ) happened and it doesn't matter that FAT is on or off.

Hello,

Probably you are simply running out of CPU. It is possible that with very small audio buffers and with conjunction with UAD the FAT mode is taking too much time for one buffer and with some extreeme settings of audio buffers it can destabilize the system.
Please try to setup our audio drivers and UAD to more secure settings.

Regards,
