When I insert the MasterQ v1.0.2 or EasyVerb v1.0.3. on a audio track in Live 4.0.4. the output is mono. All other plug-ins from PSP do not have this problem in Live. When I insert it in Nuendo 2, Logic 5 or ACID Pro 5, they work correctly (VST and DX).

Am I doing someting wrong or should I blame Ableton again?

I'm using Windows XP Professional US with the latest services pack and patches.

That is not an option. DX is not available in Live. The problem is, in al my other applications MasterQ works great VST and DX. In Live it's Mono and here you can only use VST.

I am sorry to missed it. I thought that we fixed this issue in the latest officialy available version of the MasterQ. Some hosts checks some features reported by the plug-in and there is a missunderstanding between the host and the plug-in.
The new version we are working on should fix this issue.

It's almost 8 months later and I still can't use MasterQ v1.0.2 or EasyVerb v1.0.3 in Live because they make everything mono. I upgraded to ableton Live 5.01 and it stil doesn't work. Are you guys, and or girls, working on this problem?

Am I the only one who is using these plug-ins in Ableton Live or am I the only one who has problems with these two plug-ins?

Is this a PSPaudioware problem or an Ableton problem?

Because of version 5.0 of Live I'm not useing Nuendo that much anymore but everytime when I use these two plug-ins I get mad and life isn't that much fun .

Ask Live developers why do they implement channel checking in this way which is not used by Steinberg.
The update for MasterQ PS is almost ready (Mac version is already released) and you can ask support@pspaudioware.com for a Beta version.

Still waiting for the Master Q fix. I now have to use put Master Q in a DX wrapper in a VST wrapper (or something like that) to get it working in stereo.

At the bottom of the page, download the FFX-4 DX-VST wrapper. Then load the FFX4 as a plug-in VST within Live. Then load the Master Q DX into your FFX-4 wrapper.
Now you have a working stereo Master Q within Live 5. Hopefully the VST version will be fixed, but since both attribute it to the other, at least the use of the wrapper is a workaround for your Master Q and EasyVerb.

Well, more then 15 month and still it's not working. Ableton said it's a PSP bug, now I�fm still waiting for the reply from PSP which will say it's a Ableton bug ;-(. 15 month!!! and still no solution. I think PSP is working very hard to get the iLok working in all the PSP plug-ins, which I won't get. Made me think why I got all the plug-ins from PSP, well the MasterComp was probably the last one I got from them

On 15 februari 2006 I send support a message if I can get a beta version for MasterQ and/or EasyVerb, still no answer.

I hope this is fixed soon. I'm impressed by MasterQ but need it to work properly in Live 5 before I'd buy it.

Edit: In the end, I was so impressed by this plugin's sound, that I purchased it anyway. Kudos to PSP for a great EQ. I'm using the DirectX wrapper mentioned above - however, this still isn't ideal because it's fiddly to open and inevitably makes a small CPU hit.

I hope there will be a fix for the VST in Live soon.
