PSP - Would this be considered a major overhaul or just a quick fix....?

I find myself wanting other options to the Lo and Hi-cut filters other than selecting 12 or 24 dB per octave. It sure would be nice to have the ability to pick another option - say 6 dB per octave - or, better yet, a potentiometer type selector to dial in just the right cut for each tune.

So you can use the Q knob for this purpose. Actually when 12dB/oct is used and Q is set to minimum the filter is working like it where a 6dB filter (this is why I didn't included this option), you just have to adjust a freq knob to compensate cut off frequency shift.
I hope this is what you where asking for.

Regards,

works in peak with even a 667mhz powerbook. however, occasional crashes occur when the cpu power runs out.

with my new 1.25ghz powerbook i can run several masterq:s if i like.

I find one thing missing compared to a lot of my other eq's. There is only three bands of parametri. You know the filter button on-off. Why not have all of them with a selection of filters to go through, so you can pick the one you want. This way if I need five bands of parametric I can. Sue I could always use two Master Q's but that would be a real cpu hog for nothing especially if we could have that option.

Examples:
PowerPlug, Channel Strip. See how we have the option with these two. Very nice. I really love Master Q and this would really give it an extra edge.

Hi AleLcio!

I'm using it on a Dual 533MHz G4 and it works great. No problems at all. If you are really, really interested; I'm going to wrap/convert it with VST -> RTAS adapter in a couple of weeks when my workload slows down. I could let you know how it fares under Protools.

See ya on GS,

Kent

Inukshuk,

The idea behind statically setup filters is to provide carefully chosen frequency ranges and Q values for every filter individualy.
