When I first installed MasterQ, I installed the DX version. If the MQ was inserted, whenever I clicked on its name to either open it (view MQ) or to bypass it, the audio would drop out for a few seconds and then resume at the point in the file that the audio quit. Actually, this happened even if I clicked on another plug also.

I uninstalled MQ and then reinstalled the VST vs. I am happy to report that all works perfectly with MQ installed as a VST plug.

My system:
2.8G P4
1G RAM
WinXP Pro
Samplitude 7.1 Classic
DX 8 or 9 (not sure which...)

Samplitude has an insert section on the Mixer very similar to ProTools. Left click on the name of the plug on the mixer chnl bypasses the plug. Right click on the name opens the plug for adjustment.

Thanks for the report. We suggest to use our VST versions instead of DXs whenever the application support it. In most cases using VST versions of our plug-ins means a better operation.
We are preparing an update of the MasterQ which should improve initialization and project saving times for both VST and DX.

Regards,
