There are graphical problems using the demo with in DP 4 and the VST to AU adapter. It is hard or impossible to turn the knobs correctly.

And very hard to demo the sound because every click with the mouse generates another burst of noise

Could you describe the problem with more details?
Is your machine at least G4 600? What is your hardware and software configuration?

I have this same problem on my G4 Dual 450, but I tried the demo on my G4 Dual 1.42 and it works brilliantly.

The minimum system requirements for the EasyVerb is at list single 1GHz in PowerBooks and dual 867MHz in PowerMacs.
Please also make sure that you have the latest QuickTime installed.

Sorry, you asked for the PSP MasterQ which is not as CPU hungry as the EasyVerb but still require very powerfull Mac and proper system configuration for proper operation.
I tested it on a PowerBook G4 400MHz but I would prefer a machine at least twice faster for multitracking.

G5 dual 2 gig
DP4.11
4.5 gig of ram
MOTU 2408 MKII buffer 1024
Quick Time 6.3

Is this part of the demo restriction that if I press a button or turn a knob on the interface while audio is going through, that it should generate a burst of noise?

The mouse becomes sticky on the interface too and it creates multiple knobs elsewhere on the screen.

This is not demo limitations. There is something strange in your configuration because it works properly on other machines (inluding my G4 400MHz). I have no idea what could be a problem if the QuickTime (including QuickDraw) is properly installed.

I've also had problems with knob adjustments and warbly garbled sound when using the VST to AU adapter by FXpansion. Everything works fine however when using Audio Ease' VST Wrapper. It's a shame to have had to purchase both.

The MasterQ's update is in preparation which will fix some minor problems with the MasterQ, improve functionality and finaly make an AU version available.

When using the FXpansion's adapter you have to make sure to use the latest version. Some previous versions had a compatibility problem with DP.

It is also possible that some glitches may occur when the audio buffers are set to very low values. This makes not very comfortable codintions for the MasterQ.

I am on a Mac G5 Dual 2.5GHz, OSX 10.4.3, and DP 4.6.1 and I am also having these same graphical problems with MasterQ V1.2.1.1 - I can't turn the knobs and the graphical display sometimes goes wonky.

I had MasterQ working before and I don't recall any specific change to my system that I can attribute to these problems to. Any suggestions as to what might have caused this and how to get it working again?
