Hi there,

i have got also the same problem with the demo version of Nitro. When i want to open the effect (VSTI) in cubase cubase shuts down imedeately. And when I want to open the DX or the DXI plugs i dont see the plugin at all. The same problem as bidule postedon 25 april. I hope that you can find what gives the error.

Hi Everyone,

I prepared the first diagnostic version of Nitro. If you think you can help me creating some error logs that would allow me to find the reason for the problems you encounter, please contact me at:

I was just about to ask you 'what CPU do you have' ;).
The reason is that Nitro was programmed using SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) registers and instructions that allow for 4 parallel computations, making everything much much faster. The problem is some older CPUs don't have SIMD.
I forgot to mention it in the system requirements. I want to apologize for it.
Thanks for your help and sorry for inconvenience.

best

is it too old? hmm... possible, possible ;\)
but seriously - seems like there must be some other reason too. It may be SIMD-related - AMDs seem to have slighltly non-standard SSE implementation. I want to ask you for help. Do you think you could do some testing for me? I would provide with diagnostic version and ask you to generate some log files...
