1. There are 3 parameter types that can be tempo related:
a) GLIDE operator delay time (you have to set the operator mode to be 'rhythm' - do it on the main LCD display)
b) LFO rate - it has to be either in 'rhythm' or 'sync' mode. While in 'sync' mode the LFO phase is synced to the song position also (use LFO tab of LCD display to change the LFO mode and set its rate)
c) ADSR segments times - it has to work in 'rhythm' mode. Use ADS tab of the main LCD display

Initially Nitro syncs to the host tempo. However, you can also set the tempo manually and all tempo-related parameters will follow the tempo adjustments you make. Go to the GLB tab and you'll see the options 'tempo sync' and 'tempo'. If 'tempo sync' is off, you can change the tempo value by clicking and dragging.

Hope this helps

hi,

1.05 doesn't appear to synchronise to digital performer. i've uploaded a screenshot here:

http://syncretism.net/img/dp_nitro.png

note that the dp project is set to 124 bpm, but i can't make nitro match its tempo. when sync is disabled, it reverts to 112.1 bpm.

is this expected behaviour? any thoughts?

thanks.

Niall, have you set up DP to send sync to Nitro?

Setup menu > Transmit Sync...

Click on the "Transmit beat clocks via port(s)" menu and put a check-mark next to Nitro. Click Done. You're synced.

To quote John Brunner's "Stand on Zanzibar":

"It's supposed to be automatic but actually you have to press this button..."

:-)

Kind regards.
