Dear users,

We are happy to inform you that we've just released an important update to the PSP StereoPack.
PSP StereoPack version 1.8 introduces several improvements over previous versions including high sample rates support and compatibility with the newest systems and host applications.

Changes 1.8 vs 1.6:
*Sample rates up to 192kHz supported
*Automation improved
*New dot look of the PSP StereoAnalyser's goniometer
*PSP StereoAnalyzer: Green indicators of the meters now offer a true RMS response. They are calibrated so that the RMS indication is equal to the peak indication for the sinus wave signal.
*Improved metering ballistics in all PSP StereoPack plug-ins.
*Several other minor bug fixes to gain compatibility and reliability
*New 'sliders' design
*Support for OSX AudioUnit, VST and RTAS format
*Support for Windows VST, DirectX and RTAS format

Due to the development effort required for these improvements in the PSP StereoPack, for the first time in its 5 years history (since 1.0) we need to charge for this upgrade and rise the price of the product.
Current users can upgrade to v 1.8 for $19US.
Please contact us if you haven't recived info from us how to upgrade.
ATTENTION:
If you bought StereoPack during last 3 months (after 1st June 2005) you are entitled to get free upgrade. Please contact us to get info how to downlad the new version of the bundle.

RELEASE NOTES FOR PC USER PLEASE READ THEM BEFORE INSTALLATION

To avoid any version conflicts you should UNINSTALL previous version from your system. (use an automatic uninstall option (you will find it at WINDOWS START MENU/All programs/PSP StereoPack).

Please note that this new version is not backwards compatible; in other words, it will not run correctly in projects where an old version of this plug-in was used.

Please note that in the case your old projects used VST version only, before uninstallation you can make a copy of old VST versions (they can be easily identified by the name starting with "PSP_"). Then your old VST projects will see old plug-ins while new plug-ins (wihtout "_" in the name) will also be available for new projects. Please also note that uninstallation of old DX versions is an absolute must for proper operation of the new DX versions.

Warm regards from raining Poland!
