The problem here is:
Whenever I add "Stereo controller" as masterFX in the chain after any plugin that is not from the stereopack, the computer freezes.
Is that a bug? What should I do?

It looks like yet another bug of the StereoPack. It could be caused by several reasons, one of them is running with sample rate greater then 48kHz.
Could you let us know what is the host used, platform and your OS?

Sorry if took me a while to respond.
My host app. is Cubase vst32. Mac G3 on OS9.2.2
So far it seems that this happens only when I include the Stereo controller in the FX chain. If I open it by itself it does not freeze.
The sample rate I use is always 44100. Do you reccomend me to increase to 48Khz?

Using the PSP StereoController in the FX chain really doesn't make sense. This is a plug-in designed for any insert processing on stereo tracks (individual inserts or the master).
Using the plug-in as inserts should work fine under VST 32.

Actualy what I mean is that the case is when I use it on the Master FX insert.

So it is a really strange bug which I haven't notice before.
There are a lot of imcompatibilities that arized with the Cubase SX and other Steinberg's latest products we have to solve.
