Sometimes the plug-in's (MixPressor, VW, etc) get into a wierd state where if I adjust the Mix or Vol knobs, it causes my addio software to crash. They don't always do this, but I've got an nTrack song file where all the PSP plug-ins I use, crash when I adjust parameters on them. I can add the plug-ins OK & I can use them, but I just cannot adjust them.

Any ideas what is causing this & how I can fix it?

Thanks.

Mike

Judging on symptoms probably there is something in between our plug-ins and nTrack. It would be great to report this problem to nTrack as well.

I'll do that but I was just wondering if you had some ideas?

Not at all at this moment. They are not similar to any other reports we had in the past.

I've done some more testing. The crash occurs when I add one or more Vintage Warmers to a song project that I've added MixPressors too. If I remove the VW's, then the crash doesn't occur. The crash will occur on both the VW and the MixPressor. This would lead me to believe that it's a problem with your plugins.

Not exactly. It can be a way nTrack handles parameters which can be written not bullet proof in some places. The VST specification is not exact and there is a lot of missunderstanding about it. The way we interpret and implent it shows we are right as such problem doesn't occur in other hosts.
