Ok this is a retarded question. I'm using Pro Tools on OS X and I downloaded the Vintage Warmer. I installed it opening the icon that said PSPvw166 on the desktop. I clicked the RTAS version and it said it installed everything on the HD. I searched for Vintage Warmer and found the folder in the library that has all the files. None of them say RTAS. I dragged the ones that looked like they were the application into the Pro Tools plug ins folder and they still do not appear in Pro Tools and if I click on them in the folder they ask me to choose an application to open them. I realize this is probably incredibly easy to figure out but it's frustrating the hell out of me! Someone please help!

Drop the VW Document (the plug-in itself - I believe that if you right click it and click 'get info' it should be called: PSP VintageWarmer. It will be a UNIX executable file) in the following location:

Library->Application Support->Digidesign->Plug-ins

If you then quit and restart ProT., it should appear in your plug-ins list.
