I just started using VW with GarageBand on an iMac G5 with OS 10.4.5. It has 2 GB of memory and 211 GB of hard drive available. The VW sounds terrific, but every 30 seconds or so it turns off for a second or two and then turns back on, producing a couple of unacceptable pops and a momentary difference in volume/sound quality that shows up on every mix no matter what I do. It does this both on individual tracks and on the master track, rendering an otherwise great tool useless. What am I doing wrong?

It is a limitation of demo version.

I figured out what happened. The installation was somehow corrupted, so GarageBand reverted to the demo version of VW. Since I had downloaded but never used the demo version, I didn't know what its features are. I re-installed the full version and it works fine. Thanks.
