- PowerPC G4 or G5 or
- Intel Mac
- Mac OSX 10.4 or later
- AudioUnit, VST or RTAS host application
- ProTools TDM/LE 7.3 or later for running RTAS

PC:
- Intel Pentium II CPU or later,
- CPU with SSE support is strongly recommended,
- Windows XP with ServicePack 2,
- VST or RTAS host application (DirectX format no longer supported)

I applaud the release of public beta's! You really are trying to connect more to end users and get them involved! Thumbs up for that...

Predelay was surely a nice addition, too.

Is this version backwards compatible with previous versions and presets?

If you had version with predelay it is but with no predelay it won't be compatible.

EV 1.5.2 was released today (06/06/007) as an official released version.

I wasn't aware that there was already a version with predelay. I thought that this version was the first one with that feature.
So then can I download this version and use it while also using the earlier version? I've got lots of projects that use this plug-in.

We where testing the pre-delay version for PPC for a long time before porting to UB. Pre UB and current UB versions may not be compatible to eachother and older versions and they are still Beta versions. We still need to deal with this audio locking problem in EasyVerb then we will go to serious release version.
If you switch Beta versions you would be forced to manually setup EasyVerb to previous settings. The good news is that it shoulnd't be hard with its few knobs and one slider.

Hi Guys, I've found that Easyverb has a problem instantiating when I fresh load a logic song...the output clips to the point where no sound comes through anymore and logics output is just a click and remains silent until I stop the song, then another click is heard...when I remove the plug and reload it into it's slot all is fine...(i have to reload the preset of course)

Has anyone else encountered this problem??

In Pro Tools LE 7.3.1cs3, if I change presets during playback, it results in a 'You are running out of CPU power' error and ceased playback. During playback my CPU meter is quite low and the error is reproduceable 100% of the time.

G5 dual 2.3 / 2.5GB RAM / OSX 10.4.9

The plugin is completely unuseable at 256 samples as well... not sure if this is something that can be improved at all though.

i have the same problem with my projects in Pro Tools 7.3.1 LE...

I am using the DEMO version and am having the same problem when using as RTAS.

mac pro 2.66 here if that helps.

I am having a similar problem using ezverb with Digital Performer 4.61.
Opening up sessions with the plug in on an insert very often causing the interface main output meters to shoot into clip and stay there. No sound is output. Sometimes I have to close and open the same session several times before it opens up without this issue. Bypassing the plug in sends the meters back down. Cpu overhead also has a tendency to shoot into overload when opening session with ezverb inserted. Not all the time- but often.
