RTAS when?

it's beginning to be annoying to use the vst-wrapped version of easyverb in protools. it reverts to default settings every time i load a session (which would be understandable due to its wrapped nature), but it also reverts to default settins even when i save a session (!!!), so it's kind of unusable right now.

also, i think that the wrapped version eats too much cpu, so performance improvements would be nice.

when is it supposed to be ready? i remember it was supposed to be released almost a year ago.

anyway, it has a great sound. i especially like the arena algorithm. keep on improving it, the thing sounds very beautiful and i'd be very keen to have the RTAS version in use, the kind of release i could trust anytime and anywhere. with this wrapped one i always think it'll gonna crash anytime, plus, it slows the whole system down even if there would be plenty of cpu headroom.

Do you use the latest version of the EasyVerb? It should load project's settings correctly with the latest RTAS Adapter.

Refering to your main question the PSP EasyVerb is the next in the queue right after the MasterQ which is on its final lap for beta testing. The MasterQ required a lot of sirious changes to solve some minor operation issues we noticed and to be a good multi-format solution. After we finished the MasterQ job the EasyVerb will become our priority.

easyverb 1.03 and wrapper 1.06, and the settings are lost on every protools session load/save.

the sound is good, but its usability is currently very lacking. also, it seems that the wrapped usage of the plug hangs system, as there's almost 25% cpu headroom and the system gives me an error, something which never happens with other plugs. i'd really like to get that streamlined rtas version soon

btw. as long as we're talking about masterQ, could you perhaps implement some kind of "harmonics" filter into it - in user's point of view perhaps a checkbox for each filter band?

The new version of EV is in final development stage. Please notice that we just released some other plug-ins that where "before" the EV in thequeue so now the EasyVerb is no longer the "next one".

curious if there are any updates as to when a universal binary of easyverb will come out?

UB of EasyVerb v.1.5 is in final development. We held it for a while to fix some RTAS, AU, VST and preset bar issues we had with VintageWarmer and which also influenced the EasyVerb development.
