I have recently purchased the MixPack, with a view to using the plug-inson new material, but also remastering older recordings. I may want to use compression, valve saturation and the enhancement part of MixTreble, on remastering a track. Is there a 'best' order to arrange the MixPack plug-ins in? For instance, should the enhancer always be the last processor, and the saturator the first?

I think that a typical chain could be:
MixPressor->MixBass(optional)->MixTreble(optional)->MixSaturator(optional as well)
But this highly depends on what you really need and some experiments is probably the best way to find your own way to get max of those plug-ins without introducing too much distortion etc.

Regards,

Thanks,

I did some experimentation, and for my purposes I found the MixPressor & MixTreble (in that order) achieved the best results. The MixTreble put back the 'sparkle' that I found I was losing in the compressor, made individual instruments clearer, and also increased the stereo sound stage.
